Each rule has a reasonable explanation behind it.  His team not following the rules can cost someone’s career, jail time, even their death or the demise of a teammate. They were put in place to alert the team how to proceed in any given circumstance. So, when someone says, “Rule 36”, everyone on the team knows the rule, the reason behind the rule and what action to take to avoid the consequences of a trap situation. The rules are there to protect, not restrict. 

     Many situations in our lives call for a quick decision. If we know God word He can guide us with a word or two, because we will know the reason behind His words. Reading God’s word benefits us not him.
